NIFA’s Affordable Housing Conference Attracts Deal Makers
NIFA’s fourth annual Affordable Housing Deal Makers’ Marketplace was held on January 24-25 at the Omaha Marriot Hotel. The goal of the conference was to stimulate the formation of affordable ownership and rental housing development deals.
With a turnout of more than 250 community development professionals, this conference covered a wide range of affordable housing issues. The Deal Book, highlighting affordable housing development deals from conference attendees, is posted on NIFA’s website.
In addition, presentations of 35 speakers, including keynotes Stephen Goldsmith of The Enterprise Foundation’s Frederick P. Rose Architectural Fellowship program and Rob Gaudin of Western Economic Services, are also posted.
A number of Awards were given at the conference including the Housing Champion, Nebraska Housing Hall of Fame, Outstanding Real Estate Professional, Outstanding Lender, and the “Making a Difference” Award. Photos are also available of award winners and others featured at the conference.
